Fees

The hourly fee for child minding is £6.00 an hour per child. This fee includes the cost of consumables, travel, drinks, entrance to toddler groups, soft play, National Trust, English Heritage etc. [Not included is baby formula milk, pre-bought baby food, nappies, baby wipes and sun cream]. I charge £2 a meal and £1 a snack. If preferred, children can bring a healthy snack and packed lunch and dinner.  Any food allergies or special diets can be catered for.

Payments must be made in advance of care, at the beginning of each month. [I email an invoice to parents, which has payment details on it].

I accept childcare vouchers, tax free schemes and 15 and 30 hours funding. This funding is for 38 weeks a year. The government funding is £4.91 an hour for 3 year olds and my fees are £6.00 an hour so I charge parents the difference, for consumables. I ask parents using government funding to pay their invoice by the first day of the month. When I receive the government funding, I take this off the balance on the next invoice[s].

Fees will be reviewed every April and parents will be informed if there are amendments to fees, a month in advance.

If a parent wishes to change or terminate the contract, a month’s paid notice is required.

If I, the child minder wishes to change or terminate the contract I will give as much notice as possible.

If a child is sick, has an unexpected day off, is dropped off late or picked up earlier than the agreed contractual hours, fees cannot be reimbursed.

If I, the childminder am ill and unable to look after the child, fees would be refunded.

If a parent is taking a holiday and does not need to use the child minding setting a fee of half their normal rate will apply, paid in advance, including Bank Holidays. Term-time and full-time contracts pay holiday fees. Please give a month’s notice regarding a holiday.

If I, the child minder take holiday [this includes Bank Holidays] I will charge half payments for those weeks. I will give at least a month’s notice of impending holidays.

A month’s notice will be given to amendments of the Terms and Conditions.
